We are updating the customer accounts in our online store. From now on, signing in to your account will be easier: you will no longer need a password. Instead, you will receive a one-time verification code by email.
We have introduced Shopify’s new customer accounts. The goal of this change is to make signing in easier and more secure.
From now on, you can sign in to your account as follows:
- Open the sign-in page.
- Enter your email address.
- You will receive a one-time verification code by email.
- Enter the code on the sign-in page.
- You will then have access to your customer account.
New Sign-In – Email
With the new sign-in process, you first enter your email address. A password is no longer required.
You will receive a one-time verification code by email.
The code will be sent to the email address you entered on the sign-in page. If you cannot find the code, please check your Spam/Junk folder and Promotions tab.
Your old password is no longer needed.
You do not need to create a new password, nor do you need to reset your existing one.
What can you see in your customer account?
You will continue to be able to view your orders and customer information in your account. Being signed in also makes checkout faster and more convenient, as your details can be recognized automatically during the purchasing process.
Do I Need to Create a New Account?
In most cases, no. Simply sign in using the same email address you have previously used to place orders or subscribe to our newsletter. Your one-time sign-in code will be sent to that email address.
New Order Cancellation Feature
Along with the new customer accounts, we are also introducing a new Cancel Order feature to our online store. This allows you to submit your statutory order cancellation notice directly through the webshop.
If your order has already been delivered, the products must still be returned according to our return instructions. The Cancel Order feature serves as a cancellation notice and does not replace the physical return of the products.
