This year, we’re celebrating a milestone that is especially close to our hearts – BYPIAS Finca at Lapinniemi Manor in Tampere turns five.
Since 2021, we’ve had the privilege of calling the historic Lapinniemi Manor our home. Nestled on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi in Tampere, the manor offers a truly unique setting where history, experiences, fashion, and unhurried moments come together in a way that often makes our visitors forget they are still in the heart of the city.
A Historic Manor Filled with Stories
Lapinniemi Manor was designed by renowned Finnish architect Wivi Lönn, one of Finland’s most celebrated architects and the first woman in the country to establish her own architectural practice. Completed in 1912 as the residence of factory manager Magnus Levonius, the manor was built during a time when Lapinniemi was deeply connected to the area's industrial heritage.
Over more than a century, the manor has witnessed many chapters of history, yet its warm atmosphere and timeless elegance have remained unchanged. To us, it is much more than a beautiful building—it is a place where people gather, relax, and create lasting memories.
Events Throughout the Year
There is always something happening at Lapinniemi Manor, whatever the season.
Every year, we host several popular Pop-Up Outlet events, where visitors can discover treasured BYPIAS pieces at special prices. Our annual calendar also includes the opening celebrations of our Summer and Winter Gardens, seasonal café events, and festive celebrations throughout the year.
One of the manor’s most cherished experiences is the Sound Bath held in our Suite. It has become a beloved tradition for many of our guests. The peaceful surroundings, historic setting, and soothing soundscapes create an experience that leaves visitors feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply refreshed.
During Christmas, the manor becomes truly magical. Twinkling lights, candles, evergreen branches, and cosy décor transform the estate into something almost fairytale-like. Our Winter Garden, created inside a beautiful outdoor pavilion, has become one of the highlights of the season—a place where visitors pause to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of winter.

Tampere’s Secret Café
At the heart of the manor concept is our Café & Wine Bar.
Originally known as BYPIAS Café, it quickly earned a new nickname from our guests: Tampere’s Secret Café. Perhaps it’s the hidden location, the beautiful manor surroundings, or the peaceful atmosphere that make it feel like a hidden gem.
Here, coffee is never just coffee.
Everything is prepared fresh on-site, from our homemade cakes to our lunch dishes. All our cakes are lactose-free and gluten-free—but above all, they are made to be enjoyed. They’re meant for long conversations, leisurely lunches, and meaningful moments with friends.
Many of our guests tell us they have found a place where it is easy to pause, breathe, and escape everyday life for a little while.
